"When I first found out there was a mission trip going to Oklahoma, I wanted to go right away. I have lots of friends that have gone on them but I hadn't, and was curious about what it was like. Now that I have gone there and been on a mission trip, I know there is a lot more to it than helping people. If there is one thing I learned on this trip, it was that when you go to a new place, with new faces and new surroundings, you can not have expectations of what you will find. You must open your heart and your mind to a new way of looking at things. It is the same way with god; you will never expect the way he will work in your life. You never know, he might be thinking the exact opposite of what you are. I went on this mission trip having high expectations of what we would find and do, but after the first day I lost those expectations and just let each day come as god intended it to be. Each day was a new adventure; a different story and a different laugh. This experience, with these people and opportunities, is something I really can't describe to you in words. To fully understand, I guess I'm saying you would have had to be there! "
