Tammy C. Broomall, Chancel Choir Director
An
integral part any worship service at Bethel United Methodist Church is
music. Tammy,a talented director and accomplished singer and
instrumentalist is the center of this music as the director of the
Chancel Choir. Not only does she direct the Chancel Choir at the 9:30
service, she often performs solo numbers with her angelic voice or on
her melodic saxophone.
Tammy is a graduate of Kent State University, Kent, Ohio with a Bachelor of Music, Music Education. Prior to joining Bethel UMC, she had been the Director of Music at the First United Methodist Church in Columbiana, Ohio. While at Kent State, she was part of the university's wind ensemble for 4 years, playing both clarinet and saxophone.
When she is not leading the Chancel Choir at Bethel UMC, Tammy works with other community music groups. Every Sunday Tammy, our choirs, and the congregation of Bethel United Methodist Church can be heard making heavenly music. Won't you come and join us?
