Joe Swetnam, Music Director
Joe
is the Music director for Bethel United Methodist Church and church
organist. On any given Sunday, you will find him bent over the keys of
the new Roland keyboard as he accompanies the Chancel Choir. He is also
willing to supply music, either on the piano or keyboard, for any
church function you want to name. He also seems to know just about
every hymn you can think of. Additionally, Joe plays for the New
Dominion Choraliers, a PWC singing group that provides a wide variety
of music in winter and spring concerts and at other events throughout
the year.
When he is not tickling the ivories, Joe is a lawyer with Bruce A. Gross Law Firm in Manassas, Virginia. He is also part owner of Pickway (Ohio) Properties LLC, a real estate investment company. He is on the Board of Directors and is treasurer for the Project Mend-A-House, a not for profit charitable organization in Prince William County.
His prior experience includes being a public attorney for the county, and Judge Advocate General's Corp, U.S. Army. His education includes: L.L.M. Judge Advocate General's School , U.S. Army 1989, Certificate Judge Advocate Basic Course, U.S. Army, 1981; J.D. Capital University Law School, Columbus, Ohio, 1981 and B.A. The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, 1978.
