Children and Youth
Recognizing that our youth are one of the most prized members of our church family, Bethel United Methodist Church is actively involved in activities for our young people.
J.C. Kids
Unique to Bethel UM Church, J.C. Kids is a group formed especially for 3rd to 5th graders. They meet Sunday at 6:00 - 7:30pm. Join us for a FUN time of crafts, devotions and church projects.
Young Disciples
Unique to Bethel UMC, Young Disciples is a group for 1st and 2nd graders. They also meet Sunday at 6:00 - 7:30pm
Junior (Middle School) United Methodist Youth Fellowship
For 6th through 8th Graders, this group meets in the Fellowship Hall on Sunday evenings from 6:00 pm. Come join for an evening of Christian fellowship, games, support.
Senior (High School) United Methodist Youth Fellowship
For 9th through 12th graders this group meets each Sunday of the month at 6:00 pm. Activities include athletics, open group discussions, service projects, fund-raising projects, field trips, and picnics.
Chrysalis
Is the Youth Walk to Emmaus. It is designed for the youth with a desire to deepen their faith in their daily lives and discipleship. Learn more about Chrysalis at the The Upper Room web site.
Sunday School
Sunday School meets during the 9:30 a.m. Sunday worship services. Preschool, Kindergarten; Grades 1 through 6; Middle School and Senior High School.
Acolyte Program
This program is open to children from grade 2 through grade 9. Younger children are chosen to light the candles; older children may be chosen to help with Holy Communion.
Vacation Bible School
VBS takes place every June at Bethel UMC. This year's VBS theme was a "Treasure Hunt Bible Adventure".
